The dark mode is coming to Snapchat soon as it has become a standard for Android Users. As per the news, Snapchat is still working to implement this feature although it will be limited to a few of the users who will be paid, subscribers.
Alessandro Paluzzi has put on some findings on Twitter regarding this and added an update to the thread which is tracking the progress of the dark mode for Snapchat for Android,
Snapchat has been gradually rolling out dark mode support to its users over the past few months, starting with iOS devices. It’s possible that the Android version is still in development and not yet widely available.
Now, a toggle in Snapchat that Paluzzi uncovered will show a new “App Appearance” section that shows three options – “Always Light,” “Always Dark,” and “Match System.” Although these are pretty basic options it is something Snapchat has not worked on for Android Users.
This feature will be available only to paid users on Snapchat. Snapchat+ is priced at $3.99 per month in the United States.
