Garmin should expand its range of connected watches with the launch of two new smartwatches in India as well as two new Garmin smartwatches have obtained BIS certification and were spotted on the BIS registration site. The list reveals model numbers for upcoming smartwatches.

The details on the BRI rating are quite superficial and are not reveal anything other than model numbers – AA4390 and A04390. The “4390” is the same in both models number offers two different variations of the same smartwatch. We checked these two Model numbers and they turned out to be Venu Sq2 and Venu Music Edition Sq2. Both smartwatches were the latest to be launched globally last month.
Although the model numbers correspond to the global variants, this is the case unclear if Garmin plans to bring the exact same Model to India or if there are any changes regarding characteristics or specifications.
More often than not, Garmin brings its Global version of its watches to India. What does that mean upcoming smartwatches may come with built-in GPS, AMOLED display, up to 12 days of battery life with tons of Health and wellness features such as activity tracking, heart rate monitor, SpO2, and more.
Meanwhile, Garmin recently launched two new Smartwatches in India for athletes. Both the connected watches are the Forerunner 255 and Forerunner 955. The watches have a durable design and offer a wide range of Running and fitness functions.
