Whatsapp is coming with a major change for Android Users in the app which will make the app a lot more intuitive and better. The bottom navigation bar will be changed to add various functionalities to make better use of the bar.
It should be similar to the iOS app for Whatsapp and this will allow accessing Chats, Statuses, Communities, and Calls easily. Already as there are no major design changes in Whatsapp for a long time this will give the app a refreshing look. Also, it will be easier for Ios users to switch from Android.
The update can happen fast and will be rolled out to Android users soon although there is no exact timeline for this.
