Nothing is going to launch the Nothing Phone 2 in July which will run on the Android 13 OS and Nothing OS custom skin out of the box. However, the company has declared that Nothing Phone 2 will receive 3 years of Android and 4 years of security updates.
So as there will be 3 years of Android updates we can expect the Nothing Phone 2 to get the Android 16 OS update in the coming years.

The Nothing Phone 2 will be equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hertz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Also, the smartphone will come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 Soc and a 4700 mAH battery. The phone may sport a dual camera system that will consist of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
